The warranty period that applies to your YCF product is listed in months and the warranty activation date is calculated starting from the 'purchase date' listed on your warranty document. The YCF limited warranty applies to new YCF products Imported by Lowry Australia Pty Ltd that are within warranty period to be free from equipment or manufacturing defects under normal private* use and subject to the warranty terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions listed throughout your warranty document.
MAINTENANCE, CONSUMBALES, TRANSPORT & RECEIPTS
In order to take advantage of the YCF limited warranty we strongly recommend that you have servicing and maintenance performed according to the schedule contained in the owners manual completed by a YCF dealer. Only a YCF dealer has the product knowledge and tooling to ensure your YCF product is kept in the best possible operating condition. Failure to adhere to the maintenance and servicing schedule detailed in the owner's manual and not having works completed by qualified professionals will result in the expiry of the YCF limited warranty. Any requests for warranty must be made to a YCF dealer and the complete product purchased (not part thereof or defective parts only) must be supplied for the dealer to inspect and assess for repair under the terms of this warranty on your behalf. Warranty requests cannot be made by the dealer if they are unable to view and diagnose the defective product in full. Please ensure you keep on file all proof of servicing and maintenance performed on your YCF product. A copy of this information may be requested if the dealer does not already have it on file prior to a warranty request being applied for. Consumable items such as but not limited to oil filters, air filters, engine oil, spark plugs and coolant are not covered by this warranty and the cost of these items even when linked to a warranty repair are the responsibility of the purchaser. Any transportation expenses for getting your YCF product to and from your dealer for warranty work are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not covered by this warranty.
